Thais Ramos - Mentor

Thais Ramos is a lawyer by background, having received her Juris Doctor degree from PUC-Rio, in Brazil, and a master's degree in law from Cornell University, in the US. Having carved her niche in the legal landscape, she seamlessly pivoted to the dynamic realms of privacy, risk management, and compliance. She is a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) through IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, and a Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA®) through ISACA - Information Systems Audit and Control Association. 
Throughout her career, Thais has been a catalyst for change in multinational corporations, steering the inception of best-in-class programs that set industry standards. As a volunteer, Thais has been KnowledgeNet Chair of IAPP's Rio de Janeiro's chapter, a member of IAPP's Women Leading Privacy Advisory Board, and part of IAPP's CDPO/BR certification Exam Development and Review Team. She is also part of ISACA's SheLeadsTech community among many others to promote women's representativity in IT.
